Uniting in the Wilderness, Embarking on a New Journey Together | A Two-Day Weekend Team-Building Trip

2026/10/20 22

Day 1: Capturing Moments in the Terraced Fields, Nighttime View of the Lights in the Overseas Chinese Hometown

We gathered and set off promptly in the morning, our convoy heading south toward Yunhe. After a four-and-a-half-hour drive, we arrived at the Yunhe Rice Terraces. Nestled amidst rolling mountains, the terraced fields unfold along the natural contours of the land—a living tapestry crafted by the toil of our ancestors over a millennium. Strolling along the earthen ridges, we helped one another frame the perfect shot, letting the mountain breeze melt away our lingering tension. We chatted about lighthearted topics beyond the scope of work, fully immersing ourselves in the effortless, laid-back rhythm of the countryside.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, our convoy set off for Qingtian. With the night deepening, we boarded a vessel for a cruise across Taihe Lake. During the forty-five-minute journey, the lights along the banks of this "hometown of overseas Chinese" shimmered, their reflections dancing gently upon the lake’s surface. The evening breeze, mingled with the sound of casual conversation and laughter, washed away the fatigue of the day’s travels. After the cruise, we checked into our accommodation in Qingtian to rest and recharge, eagerly awaiting our exploration of the limestone caves the following day.

Day 2: Exploring the Mysteries of the Cave, Returning Home with Warm Memories

The next morning, we drove to Shimen Cave. Here, cascading waterfalls and flowing springs are set against a backdrop of verdant mountains, while cliffside inscriptions hold stories from ages past—this was once the place where Liu Bowen pursued his studies. As we strolled along the trail, accompanied by the echoing sounds of mountain streams, we chatted and relaxed amidst the serene, tranquil natural surroundings, savoring the unique charm that arises from the harmonious blend of landscape and human history.

After a brief rest, we continued our journey to the Shuanglong (Double Dragon) Cave in Jinhua. As we approached the entrance, a refreshing, cool breeze greeted us. Recalling descriptions from our school textbooks, we ducked our heads and boarded a boat to enter the cavern. Inside, the stalactites—taking on a myriad of fascinating shapes—shifted in appearance under the play of the lights. Everyone marveled at the extraordinary craftsmanship of nature, pausing to capture photos of this wondrous landscape.

After enjoying their visit to the fullest, the group set off on their return journey, traveling all the way back to Hangzhou.

Even the most breathtaking scenery must eventually fade from view, but the rapport forged along the journey will endure. This team-building trip was about more than just taking in the sights—it was a meaningful gathering that brought us closer together. After this brief, refreshing pause to recharge, let us carry this sense of ease and shared purpose forward as we continue our journey, side by side!
